About Me
My name is Ryan Toohill, a graduate journalism student at Hofstra University in New York. I am passionate about telling impactful multimedia stories. Prior to my time at Hofstra, I worked as a producer for WakeUp Montana, a statewide morning news show that airs on NonStop Local channels in the Treasure State.
I grew up playing sports and did my best to navigate the increasingly complex ecosystem around them. I am attracted to this topic because of my fascination with the interplay of the many stakeholders in youth sports– ranging from coaches, parents, administrators and researchers to the athletes themselves.
